The main functions of this section are to prepare the Annual and Five Year Plan, Budget (BE & RE) for the entire Directorate, reconcile accounts, respond to audit notes, and allocate the annual/quarterly budget to District Offices.
Additionally, the section handles all service matters, including recruitment, seniority, transfers and postings, maintenance of service books (for non-gazetted officers), promotions, vigilance matters, and processing of pay, allowances, and retirement benefits.
